We’ve never organized a Spring rally before. Fall has always been our time of choice to do that. But when I sent out a feeler email a while back to see if my clients and friends might like to have a “Spring Fling” rally… the response was very positive. So positive that we decided to have two rallies! We had our first one about a month ago, and this past Sunday, June 9th was the second. The weather was perfect, we had 14 cars including a Lancia Aprilia, a Porsche 356 Carrera Speedster, an Aston DB4 and there were a gaggle of hot rod 911’s. The drive through the Westchester, Fairfield and Litchfield Counties back country was fantastic. There was little traffic and no cops! Heaven!!
The day was capped off by dining at Lime Rock Park, overlooking the track, with delicious picnic lunches prepared by our friend Todd Brown’s gourmet shop in Ridgefield CT, 109 Cheese and Wine.
