1973 Porsche 911S

Details

A good client and friend of deGarmo Ltd. bought this 911S as a project a number of years ago. Not much is known about its early history, but at some point Turbo flares had been fitted to the body. So, the first order of business was to return the body to its correct, original configuration. Ray Kennett of BTO Autoworks in Poughkeepsie, NY disassembled the car and installed all new factory steel fenders and sills and he executed a flawless paint job in factory original Silver Metallic. The floors are still original and completely rust free. Next, a correct 911S engine was sourced and was fully rebuilt by Stuart Morton of Morton Competition, one of the top Porsche engine builders in the country. Once the project was completed the owner simply enjoyed the car. Mechanically the car is spot on. The paint is gorgeous, the interior condition is very original and would be described at “driver” condition. So, while not a concours queen, this is a great turn key driver at a very affordable price. Asking $129,000.
